The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and how I can best support you. It’s also a space to ask any questions you might have about the therapy process.

I offer both in-person sessions in downtown Toronto near Spadina and Dundas as well as secure virtual therapy for Ontario residents. You can choose whichever feels more comfortable or convenient for you.

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of our work together. What you share in therapy stays between us regardless of your age, with a few legal exceptions (such as risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by court order). I’ll explain this fully in our first session.

Psychotherapy services may be covered by extended health insurance plans if provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or a RP (qualifying). Please check with your provider to confirm your coverage.

Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. Most clients attend weekly, especially in the beginning, but we’ll decide on a schedule that makes sense for you and your needs.
